"This old barn showed the remnants of once being painted red. The old hinge was so full of color and a pleasure to depict! I added the Queen Anne's lace and other foliage to add interest, and the first friends I showed the painting to all loved the flower! Even though this is painted in acrylics, I have used the paints in a watercolor manor, painting on heavy watercolor paper and matting to show the deckle edge of the paper."
