"This painting was commissioned by my dear friends Shirley and Frank, to hang in a place of honor over their fireplace mantle. The farmhouse was the childhood home of Shirley. It stands empty today but comes alive when family members gather and stay over. Shirley and Frank have built their own retirement home on another part of the old farm, returning to the place they love most."
