"Every morning on my walk with the dogs I passed my neighbor's beautiful potted geraniums, lit by the morning sun, sitting on a stucco wall at the entrance to his home. The scene just begged to be painted! I tried to emphasize the flowers by blurring the background and used some unique texturing medium for the surface of the wall."
