"I photographed this cat while she was sitting on a dining room chair at the owner's home. I decided an interesting setting would be in a mailbox, since I once knew of a cat who liked to relax this way. I passed an interesting old mailbox while out driving one day and photographed it (while nearly being attacked by guard dogs on the property!) for my reference back in the studio. This painting now hangs in an honored spot in the cat owner's home."
