"I had taken lots of reference photos of ducks, but one in particular inspired this painting. I loved the pose -- it made me chuckle, and I hoped it would do the same for others who'd see my painting. I also enjoyed to painting process, contrasting the cool blues of the swirling water with the hot orange of the duck's feet, and positioning the main subject off center to help suggest the feeling of movement."

Buyer Pays a shipping/handling charge. We ship within the USA using the US Postal Service Priority Mail. To keep things simple, we have two rates:
- Smaller sizes, unframed on paper: (7" x 5", 10" x 8", 14" x 11") @ $5.50
- Larger sizes, framed prints, all canvases: (16" x 12" & over) @ $18.00
